This webinar series from Dave Dellenbaugh will be a 'deep-dive' into the topic of SAIL TRIM. This series will take a detailed look at how to trim your sails for optimum boatspeed across a range of wind and wave conditions. Each week we will look closely at a different sail. What sail shape should you be looking for, and how do you use the available sail controls to get that shape? Specifically, how should you trim that sail for light air, heavy air, waves, pointing, footing, being underpowered or overpowered, and more. Plus, how do you 'change gears'? And how should you trim that sail together with other sails to optimize performance? The content will be geared to a wide range of boats, for both skippers and crews.

The sessions are all on Mondays (starting March 6) at 8:00 pm US Eastern time (GMT -5). Each runs about 90 minutes and includes video, quizzes, photos, diagrams, charts, etc. Participant questions are welcome.

This webinar is all about TACTICS (the moves you make relative to other boats in your fleet)! We will look at typical tactical choices you have to make, and we'll discuss how to make them. Each week we'll look at a different part of the race course where tactical maneuvers can make a huge difference in your race results. The goal of this webinar is to build your confidence about being in tight situations with other boats. We'll analyze dozens of common tactical situations and explore how to keep a good balance of tactics, strategy and speed. The content will apply to all types of boats, for both skippers and crew.
