Dave's last webinar of the spring will be an in-depth look at how to sail fast and smart in light and heavy air. This series will explain how speed, strategy and tactics vary according to wind pressure. In the first two sessions we'll look at how to sail fast in light and heavy air, including what's different between the two, and why. In parts 3 and 4 we'll look at strategy and tactics and how these are greatly influenced by wind speed. Specific topics include strategic priorities, wind shadows, the cost of tacking and jibing, managing windward helm, weight placement, heel angle, ideal sail shape (e.g. twist, depth), and much more. The content is geared to all types of boats for both skippers and crews, upwind and downwind.

The sessions are on Mondays (and one Tuesday) in May/June at 7:30 pm US EDT (GMT -4). Each runs about 90 minutes and includes video, quizzes, photos, diagrams, charts, etc.
